An homage to retro gaming. Classic-key collecting gameplay through the rugged ravines of random, rocky recesses. Dodge dangers and dig your way out of this cavernous classic.

Perilous Prospector is a retro-inspired adventure built in Unreal Engine 4, where you'll navigate deep caverns, collect keys, and dodge dangers along the way. Please remember that this is an unsupported prototype - a bit of fun and a nostalgic nod to classic arcade gaming.

How to Play

• Movement: Arrow keys
• Jump: Spacebar
• Pause: P or Pause
• Quit: Alt+F4
• Controller Supported

Collect keys to unlock the elevator to the next level, and make your way through carefully crafted caves full of classic arcade-style fun.

Troubleshooting

• The controls feel a bit quirky. It won't pause and time-trials keep selecting themselves!
  Make sure Steam isn't running when you start the game. The Steam controller input handling can mess with Unreal Engine 4's inputs.
  
• The keyboard input is so difficult!
  Keyboard input can be difficult with the rotating room and the directional movement. It's recommended you play with a controller. A PC, XBOX or PS controller can be used and makes things a lot easier!
